Hair weaving
At MARIA JAGGARD SALON, our staff uses a more intricatenversion of the weaving method
It involves using an instrument with a double transparent thread making secure hand-tied knots to create the track on to which the custom hair is attached. This process does not damage the existing hair when done by a professional.
We use invisible filaments to create a mesh across the balding area to which the extensions are attached. With this method, greater areas of balding can be disguised. When applied by a skilled professional a hair weave will need maintenance every 6-8 weeks (sooner if your own hair grows faster).
HAIR EXTENSIONS FOR HAIRLOSS
Hair extensions do involve considerable maintenance as well as time for the initial work and follow up tightening. Re-weaving services should be booked ahead to maintain closeness and tightness to the scalp. For those cases of mild baldness (or simply thinning hair) the results can be amazing.
WIG AND TOUPEE REPAIR
We also service and repair wigs and toupees. A highly skilled technician is available on-call to add hair to older systems or to complete repairs. We stock loose hair for all our new orders so that we can easily match the colours, curl patterns and texture of the hair systems we design.
